Greetings. \u00a0Everything is back to normal around here. \u00a0After taking down the Christmas decorations, I wanted to give one of our tabletops a winter feel. \u00a0To do that, I dug out some artwork, done by Mr. Autumn……….when he was eight<\/strong><\/em>.<\/h3>\n

I found this winter scene, complete with an igloo, snow, and evergreens a few months ago when I was going through one of his boxes. \u00a0It was done during his Catholic school days, along with the one I used here<\/a>.<\/h3>\n

Evidently they were doing a lesson on perspective, and he got it right with the placement of the evergreens in the foreground and background.<\/h3>\n

Framed and sitting on an easel, it looks great with my new super market ivy in a little blue bucket, some bocce balls, and some blue books. \u00a0I always like blue in January because it is a cool color and so different from the Christmas colors we have been looking at recently.<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This little corner with its French park bench, needlepoint pillow from Greece and Mr. Autumn’s art \u00a0makes a nice little spot in our great room. \u00a0We’re pleased with the way it looks, and the art work by my own personal Picasso makes it even better.<\/h3>\n
