\u00a0So, I will be offering up non-holiday posts like today&#8217;s entry about a bench I renewed.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">I bought this little Queen Anne bench, sight unseen, from a local auction house a few weeks ago. \u00a0I spotted it on their website and made a bid over the phone. \u00a0Luckily, the next day I received a call telling me I had won it.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/30\/bench-pressing\/img_1290\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6370\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6370\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1290-551x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"265\" height=\"491\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1290-551x1024.jpg 551w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1290.jpg 1559w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 265px) 100vw, 265px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">I followed the usual drill of disassembling it and ripping off a few layers of fabric.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/30\/bench-pressing\/img_1291\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6371\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6371\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1291-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"327\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1291-1024x681.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1291-430x286.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Then I recovered the seat with this great blue linen upholstery fabric I found at a local fabric shop. \u00a0The bench will go in our master bedroom, and the blue is the same color as the adjacent master bath.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/30\/bench-pressing\/img_1293\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6372\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6372\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1293-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"327\" 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">I painted the bench with antique white chalk paint.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/30\/bench-pressing\/img_1294\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6373\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6373\"
