Sherry at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nominimalisthere.blogspot.com\/\">No Minimalist Here<\/a> has a great one. \u00a0I have been wanting one to use as an umbrella holder in our foyer, but I have N.E.V.E.R. seen a truly old one.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/28\/to-market-to-market\/img_1208\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6117\"><img sizes=\"(max-width: 327px) 100vw, 327px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">During a recent visit to Jordan&#8217;s house in Syracuse, we made a stop at Joann&#8217;s, and I spotted this baby on sale for half price. \u00a0I thought with some tweaking, I could make it appear older.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/28\/to-market-to-market\/img_1209\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6118\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6118\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1209-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"327\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1209-1024x681.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1209-430x286.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">First, I removed the cheap fabric and attached the wheels, even though they are plastic.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/28\/to-market-to-market\/img_1211-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6119\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6119\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_12111-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"327\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_12111-1024x681.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_12111-430x286.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Then I gave it two coats of stain. \u00a0I purposely did a messy job so that it would look as if it aged over time. \u00a0The stain added just a subtle patina which you can see here next to the unstained part.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/28\/to-market-to-market\/img_1305\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6166\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6166\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1305-875x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"491\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1305-875x1024.jpg 875w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1305-276x323.jpg 276w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1305.jpg 1659w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Although it isn&#8217;t authentically old, I can live with the way it looks, and it fits perfectly beside the grandfather clock in our foyer.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/11\/28\/to-market-to-market\/img_1306\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6167\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6167\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMG_1306-588x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"282\" height=\"491\"
