{"id":4933,"date":"2011-09-16T07:46:29","date_gmt":"2011-09-16T12:46:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=4933"},"modified":"2011-09-16T09:32:30","modified_gmt":"2011-09-16T14:32:30","slug":"rosemary-cashews","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=4933","title":{"rendered":"Rosemary Cashews"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><em>Author &#8211; Autumn (Janette)<\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>I recently hosted a little cocktail party in our new townhouse. \u00a0Our neighbors put up with so much noise and chaos during the four month long remodeling process, that we wanted to show them our appreciation.<\/h3>\n<h3>One of my go-to recipes for these occasions is The Barefoot Contessa&#8217;s Rosemary Cashews. \u00a0It is a simple recipe but very tasty. \u00a0I thought it would be fun to share it with you today. \u00a0Oddly enough, she got the recipe from the Union Square Cafe in New York City.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/img.foodnetwork.com\/FOOD\/2009\/10\/20\/1G1B04_Rosemary-Roasted-Cashews_s4x3_lg.jpg\" alt=\"Picture of Rosemary Roasted Cashews Recipe\" width=\"459\" height=\"344\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>ROSEMARY CASHEWS<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>1 1\/4 pounds cashew nuts<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh rosemary\u00a0leaves<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>1\/2 teaspoon cayenne<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>2 teaspoons dark brown sugar<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>2 teaspoons kosher salt<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>1 tablespoon melted butter<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<div>\n<h3>Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.<\/h3>\n<h3>Place the nuts on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until they are warmed through. Meanwhile, combine the rosemary, pepper, sugar, salt and butter in a large bowl. Toss the warm\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodterms.com\/encyclopedia\/nuts\/index.html\">nuts<\/a>\u00a0with the rosemary mixture until the nuts are completely coated.
