I have read some other blogs recently about things people have been buying on Amazon and I thought it would be fun to share some of the random things we have purchased.\u00a0 Maybe it will help keep you sane during this time. So, here are some recent purchases that have been a hit.<\/p>\n

The first thing I wanted to share was this running belt<\/a><\/span>.<\/strong>\u00a0 I ordered new running shoes<\/a><\/span> <\/strong>and have started slowly running again.\u00a0 It has been a while, considering\u00a0\u00a0Zappos<\/a><\/span><\/strong> said the last time I bought running shoes was 2013.\u00a0 So,\u00a0 I am easing back into this whole running thing. I have other tennis shoes I wear for working out, but it was time to get back to good shoes for running.\u00a0 Before, I never ran with music.\u00a0 I did a whole marathon and didn’t bring a phone or listen to anything.\u00a0 Granted, I ran with Charles so we talked.\u00a0 Now I can go for a run during the kids’ nap.\u00a0 Since Charles is working from home, I can run on my own without pushing a stroller, so I wanted to give running with music a try.\u00a0 My phone is big, and I didn’t want to hold it and run.\u00a0 I read reviews about people not loving the arm bands for phones, so I got this belt.\u00a0 So far, so good. It holds the phone, and it is easy to access if I need it. I think this will come in handy other times when I just want to bring a phone and a credit card.<\/p>\n

Water balloons<\/a>!<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong> I got some of these for the kids Easter baskets, and we have had a blast with them.\u00a0 I have seen them before but filling them up was just as fun to watch and is so easy.\u00a0 Where were these when we were kids?\u00a0 I ordered more to have on hand because some days you just need to get outside and throw some water balloons<\/a>!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Puzzle saver<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 I shared on Instagram at one point that on our dining room table we had Little Miss doing a 500 piece puzzle, Charles working on a 1000 pieces, and Google doing a firetruck puzzle.\u00a0 I love it, but I was missing having a dining room table for dinner.\u00a0 \u00a0I found this, and it has been amazing.\u00a0 We can just roll it up and store a puzzle till we are ready to start puzzling again.\u00a0 Plus, we can move it around.\u00a0 Sometimes it is on the dining room table and other times the coffee table.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"We have been doing a lot of coloring and Little Miss likes to use colored pencils.\u00a0 Well, a large amount of pencil shavings that didn’t make it into the trash can, and\u00a0 it was taking too much time for me to sharpen some of the pencils. I thought it was time to upgrade.\u00a0 So this sharpener helps<\/span>\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>us more time to do the fun part of coloring.<\/p>\n

As much as I love coloring princesses and super heroes, Charles and I each decided to get our own coloring books.\u00a0 Charles opted for this book Landmarks of the World<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I thought this one<\/a><\/span><\/strong> would be a fun book to color.\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Charles ordered this book<\/a><\/span><\/strong> to do engineering projects with Little Miss.\u00a0 They are cute little projects, and you have most of the stuff already around your house.<\/p>\n

Janette here.\u00a0 Now I’m going to share some of the items I have ordered on Amazon during the lockdown.<\/p>\n

I needed a stool in the pantry<\/a><\/strong><\/span> that did not take up floor space.\u00a0 I ordered this one<\/a>,<\/strong><\/span> and it fold up and fits behind the door when I am not using it.\u00a0 It’s so handy just to pull when I need to reach into the back of the cabinets.\u00a0 It’s very sturdy.\u00a0 My old stool will go to Goodwill.<\/p>\n

Little Miss is a pretty good puzzle worker for a five year old.\u00a0 I ordered this puzzle<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and had it shipped directly to her.\u00a0 She has finished it and will send it to me to work soon.\u00a0 I did a puzzle last week, and it was the first one I have done since I was a little girl.<\/p>\n

Our kitchen is getting quite the workout these days.\u00a0 The paint started chipping off of my old Dutch oven, so I checked the reviews and ordered this one<\/a><\/strong><\/span> based on the opinion of the people at America’s Test Kitchen.\u00a0 Some colors are no longer available.<\/p>\n

After enjoying a Nespresso at Jordan’s house on every visit, I decided to treat myself to this one<\/strong>.<\/a><\/span>\u00a0 This is the one I purchased, and I am really enjoying it.\u00a0 I’m a new coffee drinker, and each day I drink a cup of decaf from my new Nespresso.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

So, of course we have both ordered the necessities like razors, hair color, tooth paste, etc., but in this age of staying healthy, it’s so nice that we have our online shopping.<\/p>\n
