Happy Tuesday, everyone.\u00a0 I love doing these posts, so I thought today would be a good day to share some Tuesday thoughts with you.<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/p>\n

I just finished this book<\/a><\/span> for my book club, and it was wonderful.\u00a0 It is about women spies during WWI.\u00a0 I learned there was an actual network of women spies called The Alice Network.\u00a0 Parts of this book are taken from the real Alice Network.\u00a0 Parts of it also take place in 1947, so there’s that, too.<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/p>\n

We both recently read this book<\/a><\/span> and really enjoyed it.\u00a0 It’s the story of a brother and his sister, and the home where they spent part of their lives.\u00a0 We both are always looking for new books so feel free to share any.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

If you follow us on Instagram<\/a>,<\/span> you saw that I recently went to a Skillpop<\/a><\/span> class with one of my friends.\u00a0 We learned to brew our own kombucha. The gross looking thing on top is the SCOBY, and it is the “mother” that will do wonders to the tea. Eventually, it will be kombucha.\u00a0 Do you drink it?\u00a0 I love it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kombucha is a fermented tea filled with tons of good probiotics for your gut.\u00a0 I drink them almost daily and thought it was about time to make my own.\u00a0 Here I am about to bottle my first brew, and for this round, I added ginger to all my bottles to help with some flavor along with blueberries and pineapple.\u00a0 I am so excited about this new hobby and all the flavor options.<\/p>\n

\"Meal<\/p>\n

We did a sponsored post about these food storage containers<\/a><\/span> three years ago, and they are still going so strong at our house.\u00a0 We LOVE them and have purchased more.\u00a0 They are used daily for leftovers, cut up veggies, and lunch for Charles.\u00a0 The quality and ease to store and clean are wonderful.\u00a0 So, if you are looking to update your food storage, I highly recommend.<\/p>\n

We are so close to signing papers to get things started on the the bump-out addition to our second floor.\u00a0 Originally, we thought we would build an in-law suite for our garage, too.\u00a0 At this point, we have decided to put that part on hold and focus on the house.\u00a0 We no longer have a true guest room (it’s now Google’s room.<\/span><\/a>)\u00a0 We thought an in-law suite would have been nice to have when guests (mostly Mom and Dad) come, but they don’t seem to mind.\u00a0 If that day comes when we decide to do it, we have all the plans and are ready to go.\u00a0 But now we are looking at pull-out sofas for the play room.\u00a0 Since it is beside our powder room<\/a><\/span>, which is a full bath, the play room can easily shift to a guest room.\u00a0 If you have a pull out sofa that your guests love, please share it with me.<\/p>\n

When I first heard about Color Street<\/a> nail color, I was hoping it would be as good as I had heard.\u00a0 Color Street<\/a> is nail polish stickers that you put on your nails.\u00a0 A year into using them, I can say they are amazing and I can’t imagine not using them.\u00a0 Years ago, I used Jamberry stickers for my nails.\u00a0 I liked that I didn’t have to wait for them to dry, but I noticed my nails had some damage.\u00a0 A year ago my sister-in-law gave me a few sets of the Color Street nail stickers.\u00a0 Oh my… I am obsessed.\u00a0 Seriously, I have used them for the last year and still rave about them.\u00a0 They come off so easily, and they do not damage the nails.\u00a0 I am able to get a full week’s wear out of them. If I use the glitter ones, I can get a little more time.\u00a0 I also add a clear topcoat to help them last.\u00a0 I can’t remember getting so many compliments on my nails because they always look like I just came from a nail salon.\u00a0 Click here<\/a> to check them out and if you buy three sets,\u00a0 you get one free.<\/p>\n

Finally, it is winter, and I am cold.\u00a0 I do much better in the hot weather than the cold.\u00a0 If I could, I would wear a robe all day in the house, but I feel that is not appropriate.\u00a0 I found something that is working out great to keep me warm this winter.\u00a0 It is a robe<\/span> cardigan<\/span><\/a> that feels like a robe but doesn’t look like I just got up at 3 p.m. if someone rings the doorbell.\u00a0 So many of my friends have gotten one and love it.\u00a0 I thought it was worth sharing.\u00a0 If you are like me and always cold in the winter, then you might like one for yourself.<\/p>\n
