dollars at the Habit for Humanty store &#8211; before it was the Restore. \u00a0The mirror was Williamsburg blue when we bought it. \u00a0Do you remember that color?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/21\/mirror-mirror\/img_0098\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4373\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large 368px) 100vw, 368px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">This is what it looked like after its first face-lift in a photo taken by moi in a very unflattering\/unladlike squat. \u00a0But, hey, you are supposed to be looking at the mirror!<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/21\/mirror-mirror\/img_0099\/\" rel=\"attachment 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">This close-up of the detail shows that it has some charming little flowers that I highlighted with paints and then glazed. \u00a0It worked very well in our last powder room, but the gold didn&#8217;t work for our new <a title=\"Powder Room Reveal\" href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/07\/12\/powder-room-reveal\/\">powder room<\/a> painted in a Sherwin Williams version of Benjamin Moore&#8217;s Palladian Blue. \u00a0So, I decided to do surgery.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/21\/mirror-mirror\/img_0100\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4376\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4376\" title=\"IMG_0100\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_0100-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"553\" height=\"368\" 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">First, I removed its backing and spray painted it glossy white.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/21\/mirror-mirror\/img_0105\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4377\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4377\" 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Then I used my left-over paint samples and started highlighting the flowery details.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">And then I added some stain left over from the floor refinishing project. \u00a0It was gooey and messy, but I knew anything I did would not be wrong.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/21\/mirror-mirror\/img_0450-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4385\"><img decoding=\"async\" sizes=\"(max-width: 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">But when I added this great paisley fabric to the powder room in the form of a sink skirt, I knew the mirror needed a touch of red here and there to tie in better with the fabric.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/21\/mirror-mirror\/img_0460\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4384\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4384\" title=\"IMG_0460\" 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">So, I used some of my acrylic paints to add the touches of red that I needed.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">And now the mirror&#8217;s second face-lift is complete, and its new youthful appearance fits perfectly in the powder room.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a
