They are festive table decorations that are basically treats wrapped up in paper.\u00a0 When pulled apart, they make a cracking sound.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-43490\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Christmas20crackers203.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"535\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Christmas20crackers203.jpg 609w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Christmas20crackers203-430x287.jpg 430w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Christmas20crackers203-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They are made by inserting candies, trinkets, and sometimes a joke, into a tube and then the tube is wrapped in paper.\u00a0 The two ends are tied up so that the treats don&#8217;t fall out before they are supposed to.\u00a0 In our case, we used cute ribbon.\u00a0 When it is time to open them, they are pulled apart by two people, kind of like a wish bone.\u00a0 Then the treats come out, and that&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n<h2>What You Need<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-43493\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Christmas20crackers206.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Christmas20crackers206.jpg 609w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Christmas20crackers206-430x286.jpg 430w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Christmas20crackers206-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Christmas crackers can easily be made by children.\u00a0 Also, they make colorful additions to a holiday table and can even be used as place cards.\u00a0 So what do you need to make Christmas crackers?\u00a0 It&#8217;s very simple.\u00a0\u00a0 You need tubes, like the kind that hold paper towels.\u00a0 Cut each tube about five to six inches long.\u00a0 Then add your candy and a joke on a piece of paper, if you want to follow tradition.\u00a0 Then wrap the tubes up in colorful wrapping paper that coordinates with your table, and tie them with a ribbon on each end.\u00a0 That is all there is to it.\u00a0 Making these little Christmas crackers is a great way to get children involved in holiday crafts.
