{"id":43484,"date":"2019-12-19T18:00:18","date_gmt":"2019-12-19T23:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=43484"},"modified":"2019-12-18T12:31:18","modified_gmt":"2019-12-18T17:31:18","slug":"bourbon-milk-punch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=43484","title":{"rendered":"Bourbon Milk Punch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.\u00a0 We have had a busy week, and it is about to get busier.\u00a0 Mike and I have been out of town all week and arrived home from Colorado at midnight last night.\u00a0 The neighborhood open house we are hosting is this Sunday, and we are having friends for dinner Saturday night.\u00a0 So it is crunch time.\u00a0 We first flew to Nebraska for two nights at our daughter-in-law&#8217;s parents.\u00a0 Then we rode to Denver where our son and wife have decided to move.\u00a0 Actually, they just closed on a huge home in Evergreen, CO and are having some work done before they move into it in January.\u00a0 They wanted my opinion on a few decorating decisions, and of course, I was happy to give it.\u00a0 Mike and our son hit the slopes, we celebrated a birthday, Josie and I did fun house things.\u00a0 We also went to the Monet exhibit at the Denver Art Museum and had afternoon tea. But best of all was spending special time with our little granddaughter who will be two in January.\u00a0 Today&#8217;s recipe is a punch I am considering for the open house.\u00a0 It is bourbon milk punch, and it is definitely a southern thing &#8211; maybe even just a Kentucky thing. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. \r<\/li><li id=\"yrecipe-instruction-2\" class=\"instruction\" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">Garnish with a dash of nutmeg.\r<\/li><li id=\"yrecipe-instruction-3\" class=\"instruction\" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">Recipe yields one drink and surplus for a sidecar.
