{"id":43421,"date":"2019-12-09T18:00:25","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T23:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=43421"},"modified":"2019-12-05T15:29:48","modified_gmt":"2019-12-05T20:29:48","slug":"powder-rooms-christmas-look","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=43421","title":{"rendered":"The Powder Room&#8217;s Christmas Look"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.\u00a0 We have slowly been adding some Christmas to our house, and today we are going to share the powder room&#8217;s Christmas look.\u00a0 If you have followed our blog for very long then there are certain things about me you already know:\u00a0 1.\u00a0\u00a0 When it comes to Christmas, I am a traditionalist and use red and green.\u00a0 2.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t go wild with Christmas decorations.\u00a0 I use what I have and add one or two new things each year.\u00a0 3.\u00a0 Our Christmas decor pales in comparison to everyone else&#8217;s.\u00a0 4.\u00a0 We don&#8217;t decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving.\u00a0 5.\u00a0 Our Christmas decorations are not over the top.\u00a0 I leave that to the other bloggers.\u00a0 6. I lose all of my decorating confidence when it comes to Christmas.\u00a0 With all of that being said, I did add a few touches to our powder room to give it a Christmas vibe.\u00a0 Please note that this room does not have a window, and so I had to use artificial light for the photos.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s take a look.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Red Soap<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Normally I have lavender soap in the dispenser, but for Christmas I added a pomegranate blend that adds a touch of red.\u00a0 How simple was that?\u00a0 I pulled out my Christmas hand towels.\u00a0 I keep a fresh one on the sink and&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>Christmas Towels<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" 768w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Powder20room20Christmas204-300x345.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>put the others in a basket below the sink.\u00a0 The red and green colors peek out and say Christmas.\u00a0 Since we don&#8217;t have a cabinet in the powder room, I keep essentials like extra t.p. and fresh towels in a basket under the sink.<\/p>\n<h2>Bottle Brush Trees<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-43438\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Powder20room20Christmas203-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Powder20room20Christmas203-242x323.jpg 242w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Powder20room20Christmas203-300x400.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The last things I added were three little green bottle brush trees.\u00a0 They sit together on the back of the toilet and look very festive.\u00a0 I love how red and green go so well with my navy colors and accessories.\u00a0 These little touches were so simple and in this small room, nothing more is needed.<\/p>\n<h2>New Art<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-43435\" http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Powder20room20-300x400.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Oh, and before you go, this is one of my latest pieces of art.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a water color of a man sitting ona chair at a table.\u00a0 I found it in an antique shop in Charlotte when Jordan and I were shopping.\u00a0 I moved the little ballerina girl, a leftover from my childhood to another wall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-43437\"
