Fall Tablescape"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, my garden club&#8217;s first afternoon tea was yesterday, and it was a huge success.\u00a0 The food was so delicious, the tables were perfection, and the program gave me goose bumps.\u00a0 We had a packed (historic) house, and we managed to serve our guests without spilling tea on anyone&#8217;s lap.\u00a0 The room was lovely with all of the tables set by the members using their own china and cutlery.\u00a0 Last week when I showed you <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2019\/10\/21\/a-fall-table-setting\/\">this tablescape<\/a><\/span> that I was testing out for the tea ( I did two tables for six,) I told you that I would share the fall tablescape that I was responsible for.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s take a look.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter plates that I am using as chargers are from my grandmother.\u00a0 The green jadeite dessert\/salad plates along with the cups and saucers were purchased for me by my mother.\u00a0 She had fun buying sets of vintage dishes for me.\u00a0 If you recognize the runner, it&#8217;s because I wrote about it in<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> <a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2019\/10\/15\/diy-fall-table-runner\/\">this post.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Vintage Dishes<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" spring, summer, or fall depending on the napkins and table cloths or place mats that I use.\u00a0 However, I mostly use them in the fall and pull out the oranges and black.\u00a0 Plus, I have eight soup bowls that are perfect for using when I make soups and stews in the fall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-43150\" the 1940&#8217;s by the Anchor Hocking glass company in Ohio and had a resurgence in popularity when Martha Stewart used it.\u00a0 She had tons of it in one of her kitchens.\u00a0 It comes in many patterns.<\/p>\n<h2>Gingham Napkins<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-43151\" style=\"color: #ff0000\">here.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 A dozen is less than twenty dollars, they come in at least nine colors, and the quality is spot on. I had the table cloth.
