{"id":42921,"date":"2019-10-06T18:00:57","date_gmt":"2019-10-06T23:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=42921"},"modified":"2019-09-17T05:41:38","modified_gmt":"2019-09-17T10:41:38","slug":"jordans-dining-room-got-new-chairs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=42921","title":{"rendered":"Jordan&#8217;s Dining Room Got New Chairs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.\u00a0 We specifically said my dining room got new chairs because Mom also just bought some new chairs for her dining room.\u00a0 You can see her chairs in this post.\u00a0 Technically, our chairs aren&#8217;t new, but they are new to us.\u00a0 I found these great rattan chairs on Craigslist, and after searching for chairs for months, I knew they would work.\u00a0 I bought four of them with padded seats, and the seller &#8220;tossed in&#8221; one that is missing a pad.\u00a0 We use our dining room every night for dinner, and it was time to switch things up.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-42944\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-2-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-2-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-2-242x323.jpg 242w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-2-300x400.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These chairs are very solid and give a retro vibe to our somewhat traditional dining room.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-42943\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-3-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-3-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-3-242x323.jpg 242w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-3-300x400.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I wanted them to have somewhat neutral seat but yet not plain fabric.\u00a0 I found this light-colored animal print at Hobby Lobby and made new covers for them myself.\u00a0 It was easy to replace the covers by just unscrewing the pads, replacing the old fabric with new fabric, stapling it into place, and then screwing the pads back onto the chairs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-42947\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_6212-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_6212-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_6212-242x323.jpg 242w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_6212-300x400.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We replaced the floral fabric that was on the two end chairs with just off white cotton covers.\u00a0 These parsons chairs are from Ikea, and the new covers are, too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-42942\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-5-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-5-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-5-242x323.jpg 242w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Dining-room-5-300x400.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I always wait until after Little Miss&#8217;s birthday to put out our fall decorations, so I will be starting on that later this week.\u00a0 It is still extremely hot here, as it is in lots of the country, so thinking about fall is a challenge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-31055\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_0193-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Dining room reveal -
