{"id":4242,"date":"2011-08-14T18:06:38","date_gmt":"2011-08-14T23:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=4242"},"modified":"2011-08-15T06:11:50","modified_gmt":"2011-08-15T11:11:50","slug":"new-bar-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=4242","title":{"rendered":"New Bar Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><em>Author &#8211; Autumn (Janette)<\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>A few weeks ago, I revealed our new and wonderful bar, <a title=\"Bar Reveal\" href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/07\/24\/bar-reveal\/\">here<\/a>. \u00a0But since then, I have had a visit from my decorating friend Beth of The Lone <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelonerearranger.com\/\">Rearranger<\/a>. \u00a0She loves colorful paints and suggested I get rid of the white and paint the bar area a color.<\/h3>\n<h3>We talked about blue, turquoise, and others, but then by looking in the mirror, I knew what the color needed to be &#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/14\/new-bar-update\/img_0823-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4260\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4260\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08231-223x323.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"323\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08231-223x323.jpg 223w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08231-708x1024.jpg 708w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08231.jpg 1345w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 223px) 100vw, 223px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Yellow. \u00a0This oil painting by my mother and my antique hi-rise bicycle can be seen in the bar mirror&#8217;s reflection.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/14\/new-bar-update\/img_0826-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4261\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4261\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08261-430x286.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"430\" height=\"286\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08261-430x286.jpg 430w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08261-1024x681.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 430px) 100vw, 430px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">We are treating the bicycle like a sculpture, and they work perfectly in our very wide hallway where the bar is tucked.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/14\/new-bar-update\/img_0825-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4262\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4262\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08251-430x286.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"430\" height=\"286\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08251-430x286.jpg 430w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_08251-1024x681.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 430px) 100vw, 430px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">The color is a much deeper and more intense yellow than what is appearing on this monitor. \u00a0I removed all of the glassware and taped everything carefully. \u00a0I am not known as the world&#8217;s neatest painter. \u00a0In fact, I really don&#8217;t enjoy it, but since this was such a little job, I took on the challenge.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2011\/08\/14\/new-bar-update\/img_0829\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4263\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4263\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_0829-430x286.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"430\" height=\"286\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_0829-430x286.jpg 430w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG_0829-1024x681.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 430px) 100vw, 430px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">But the yellow is it!
