We are back today with another room reveal.\u00a0 This time it is the guest room that is located on the second floor.\u00a0 We are calling it guest room 2.\u00a0 This room needed the smallest amount of work during the nine-month renovation.\u00a0 We put in new windows, added a new light, customized the closet, painted everything, and refinished the floors.\u00a0 That might look like a lot, but since it didn’t need walls or doorways moved, it really was pretty simple.\u00a0 We hope you enjoy our guest room 2 reveal.<\/p>\n

This is not a huge room, but it does have two nice windows.<\/p>\n

We are using the same four poster bed that was in the guest room of our last house, but we purchased a new mattress set and new bedding.<\/p>\n

I had the bed skirt custom made here<\/a>\u00a0 on Etsy<\/a>. Originally, I had ordered another pattern, but the floor refinishers threw it into the dumpster when the mailman delivered it during construction.\u00a0 I know…….\u00a0 By the time I realized what had happened, the landscapers had piled dirt and bricks on top of the package.\u00a0 So, I ordered another one, and this time selected this pretty pattern.\u00a0 And by the way, the flooring company reimbursed me for their mistake.<\/p>\n

The navy shams are from Ballards.<\/a><\/p>\n

We also kept the same night stands that we had in the former guest bedroom.<\/p>\n

I painted this art work a few years ago.<\/p>\n

\"Guest<\/p>\n

This love seat was in our former master bedroom, but it is perfect in here.\u00a0 I love having a spot for our guests to sit when they want to get away from it all.\u00a0 I bought the painting at an antique show.\u00a0 It is by a French artist and was painted in the 1960’s.<\/p>\n

This dresser replaced a smaller one that was in the space.\u00a0 It goes much better with the room.<\/p>\n

I bought the two rosaries on our travels.\u00a0 One is from Colombia, and the larger one is from Panama.\u00a0 The walls are not pink nor do they have pink undertones.\u00a0 I don’t know why they are looking pink in this shot.<\/p>\n

These figurines were an engagement gift.\u00a0 The lady who gave them to us owned an antique shop.\u00a0 They came from Germany originally.\u00a0 I love how sweet they are.<\/p>\n

The rug was in our kitchen and then guest room, and the bench was in the sun room.It has been so much fun to fit our furniture into this house, and everything fits in perfectly here.\u00a0 We will be adding some more art to this room, but I only want to buy things that I love.\u00a0 It might take a while to find just the right look.<\/p>\n
