Gradually stir in two cups milk.  Bring to a boil while stirring constantly over medium heat.   Remove from heat and stir a small amount of hot mixture into the egg yolks.  Add the egg yolk mixture to the pan and mmediately return to heat and bring to a boil again.  Remove from heat and stir in butter and orange extract.
