to Update the Powder Room"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.\u00a0 One thing I have been wanting to do this year is work on updating our powder room.\u00a0 I haven&#8217;t done much in terms of decor around the house so I thought it was finally time.\u00a0 I want to show you how it looks now so you&#8217;ll appreciate the after even more.\u00a0 Beware&#8230;.. these are\u00a0quick iPhone\u00a0photos.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-40281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is a small bath without a window, but it does have a full bath\/ shower.\u00a0 While I don&#8217;t feel we need a tub in this room, we are not going to remove it.\u00a0 We are adding a much bigger mirror which I have already purchased, and the wall light will be removed.\u00a0 We will hire an electrician to hang a pendant light from the ceiling so it will be directly over the sink.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-40280\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At this point, I make the most of the shower\/tub and use it to hang my delicate clothes that I don&#8217;t want to put in the dryer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-40279\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Bathroom-before-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Bathroom-before-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Bathroom-before-242x323.jpg 242w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Bathroom-before-300x400.jpg 300w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Bathroom-before.jpg 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This room did have a clear shower door so we removed it, and I painted the vanity and changed the mirror from the original\u00a0mirror.\u00a0 Our plans are to wallpaper one wall with a bold colorful print.\u00a0 I already have it and can&#8217;t wait to see it on the wall.\u00a0 Then the remaining walls will be painted a dark color to blend with the paper.\u00a0 I&#8217;m considering painting the ceiling the same color.\u00a0 Of course, I want to replace the floor, but Yankee isn&#8217;t in favor of that because he would have to do the work.\u00a0 He is hesitant after <a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2014\/12\/01\/bathroom-floor-continues\/\">this fiasco<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We probably won&#8217;t get to this project until after the
