The grounds are just as impressive as the house itself.\u00a0\u00a0Chihuly&#8217;s work was amazing.\u00a0 Here this boat was filled with large glass balls and other designs.\u00a0 People loved seeing his work around the grounds.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-39666\" 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I still can&#8217;t get over the grandness of it all.\u00a0 One of the reasons Vanderbilt had so much money to spend on this house is because it was built before income taxes became mandatory.\u00a0\u00a0 This mantel is massive and stunning.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-39674\" We got to see how much went on behind the scenes to make this house run.\u00a0 I loved it even more, especially since Downton Abbey.\u00a0 I know this kitchen got lots of use.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-39676\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/The-Biltmore-1-766x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"856\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/The-Biltmore-1-766x1024.jpg 766w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/The-Biltmore-1-241x323.jpg 241w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/The-Biltmore-1-768x1027.jpg 768w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/The-Biltmore-1-300x401.jpg 300w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/The-Biltmore-1.jpg 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The property has a winery and places to stay so you really can spend the whole weekend on the grounds.\u00a0 This work was down by the winery, and it reminded me of a pineapple top.\u00a0 It was really cool.
