It was so much fun having a wallpaper poll <\/a>on the blog two weeks ago.\u00a0 Thanks to all of you who responded with your choices in the comments, through emails, on Facebook, and on Instagram.\u00a0 I am here today with the results of your choices for the powder room wallpaper, but you will have to wait to see my selection.\u00a0 I want to get it hung first and get the powder room finished before we show you.\u00a0 Right now it is a shell of a room waiting for things to happen.<\/p>\n

The Powder Room Wallpaper Winner<\/h2>\n

This wallpaper was your favorite. It was number one.\u00a0 It’s very dramatic with the deep navy background.<\/p>\n

Second Place<\/h2>\n

There was a tie for number two between this one………<\/p>\n

and this one.\u00a0 This paper reminds me the most of the wallpaper in our last powder room which I loved.<\/p>\n

There’s some waiting to do before I can reveal the powder room wallpaper to you, but I will tell you this much.\u00a0 The one I picked is in your top three.\u00a0 A series of tasks all have to happen before we can do a reveal, though.\u00a0 First, the wallpaper has to arrive, and then it has to be hung.\u00a0 But before that, the beadboard has to go up, and then it gets painted.\u00a0 Oh, and the hardwood floors have to be sanded, stained, and sealed.\u00a0 The door needs to be hung and painted.\u00a0 The door hardware has to go on.\u00a0 The sink, toilet, and faucets need to be installed, the mirror has to be hung, and the sconces have to be installed.\u00a0 These tasks involve six different sets of sub-contractors.\u00a0 That’s a lot of scheduling for our builder and a lot of waiting for us.\u00a0 But we are getting there.<\/p>\n

But I promise, as soon as all of those things happen, we will share with you.\u00a0 Thank you so much for being so positive and excited about this remodeling process.\u00a0 It means a lot to me.<\/p>\n
