Inspiration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I bet most of you would agree that the kitchen is your favorite room in the house.\u00a0 It sure is mine, and I am so excited to get to create another one.\u00a0 I thought you might like to see some photos that made my heart beat a little faster, and might serve as some inspiration in the planning faze of our new house.\u00a0 I love a white kitchen, but this one will have a big splash of my favorite color.\u00a0 I know all of you neutral lovers out there might shriek, but there might be a navy island in our kitchen.\u00a0 Our current house has a bluish gray peninsula, and I have loved having a splash of color with the\u00a0 white cabinets.\u00a0 And the bottom line is that if I ever get tired of it, I can paint it.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not like choosing a blue tile floor or a blue back splash that would require construction to change it.\u00a0 Painting a navy island a different color would be fairly painless and inexpensive.\u00a0 I have loved navy as long as I can remember, and it will be showing up in small doses all over our house.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a classic.\u00a0 I&#8217;m considering a few other colors for the island, but I
