\n<\/a>Happy Halloween!<\/p>\n

\"I<\/p>\n

I thought I\u00a0would kick off today’s post with one of my favorite couples costume we did back in the days we were living in Atlanta.\u00a0 How do you like our Ipod earbuds?\u00a0 It was so easy and comfy.\u00a0 And the best part was we got to play music.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"Halloween<\/p>\n

We went to an incredible house party Saturday night dressed like a flapper and her ummmmmmmm date.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Actual trick or treating will be a little different because we decided to do a family costume.\u00a0 Little Miss is going to be Cinderella, and Yankee is going to dress up like Prince Charming.\u00a0 I will be the Fairy Godmother.\u00a0 Our neighborhood has a cute parade and the firetrucks make an appearance.\u00a0 There will be more candy than we know what to do with.\u00a0 We never finished our Easter candy. #wouldratherhaveacookie\u00a0 Be sure to check our Instagram<\/a> stories to see how we look.<\/p>\n

\"World<\/p>\n

I was in World Market the other day, and they had a pretty Thanksgiving tablescape.\u00a0 I love the flameless\u00a0birch candles<\/a>.\u00a0 They were battery operated and added a nice soothing touch to the table.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"Rug\"<\/p>\n

I have been eyeing this rug<\/a> for my office.\u00a0 It is a great price and would be fun!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am in a little book club and the last two books we read were really good, and I wanted to share.\u00a0 We are always looking for suggestions so please share any you may have.<\/p>\n

\"Small<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This was the first time I ever read a book by\u00a0Jodi Picoult<\/a> and it was really good and relevant to things that are happening around the country.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wow “The Circle<\/a>” was also good and relevant in terms of social media, and the direction we are going with being plugged in.\u00a0 While reading it, I decided it would be a great movie.\u00a0 Well, it turns out there is a movie, and it didn’t get great reviews.\u00a0 It does have Tom Hanks so I am adding it to my watch list.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"Flip<\/p>\n

Yankee picked these<\/a> up the other day, and they are awesome.\u00a0 It is a light switch that when you flip the switch a bright light comes on the light switch.\u00a0 This is perfect for those small dark spaces that don’t have a lot of light or you cant get to an outlet.\u00a0 We put one in our pantry because our switch is in the way back and always covered by boxes or cans of food.\u00a0 The other one is in our crawl space.\u00a0 I think these flip it’s<\/a> are so great and have really come in handy.<\/p>\n

\"Dining<\/p>\n

I have a dining room question for y’all.\u00a0 Our chairs are on their last leg, and we are looking to upgrade and eventually, Yankee wants to build a new table.\u00a0 This room gets used daily as we do eat our dinners in here, so it is not just a look at me room.\u00a0 Mom has offered up her old dining room chairs that look similar to the ones below.<\/p>\n

They are more traditional and formal.\u00a0 I wouldn’t paint them, but I would change the floral fabric she has on the chairs.\u00a0 What do you think?\u00a0 It would be mixing two styles which I like, but this one I am not sure about.\u00a0 Please let me know your thoughts. I love hearing everyone’s\u00a0opinions.<\/p>\n

\"Trader<\/p>\n

Little Miss is like me and loves everything and anything pumpkin.\u00a0 While at Trader Joe’s yesterday, I picked up this yogurt.\u00a0 We shared it, and oh my, it was so good.\u00a0 We even had to facetime my mom to share our love.\u00a0 I usually make my own yogurt<\/a>, but this one was tasty!<\/p>\n

\"Kitchen<\/p>\n

Sadly, one of our favorite companies is going out of business.\u00a0 Country Curtains,<\/a> which is a family-owned business based in Stockbridge, MA is closing after many, many years.\u00a0 I had their bedspread and curtains when I was a little girl.\u00a0 They have been sponsors here on the blog, and we will miss them.\u00a0 Here<\/a> is one of the posts we wrote for them.\u00a0 They have the best bed skirts we have ever used.\u00a0 Everything is now 20\u00a0 to 40 percent off on their website.<\/p>\n
