Thank you all for the kind comments you made about yesterday’s pos<\/a>t. It was very touching<\/span> for both of us to read them.<\/p>\n

I recently bought a cute new bench<\/a> from Wayfair<\/a> to put in our upstairs hallway.\u00a0 Since repainting the interior of the linen cabinet<\/a>, I felt the wall at the very top of the stairs needed to something more.\u00a0 Right now it is blank.\u00a0 It’s between accessories.\u00a0 There have been benches, mirrors, paintings, and dressers at the top of our stairs, but right now nada.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\"Great<\/p>\n

The only problem with the bench, and it isn’t really a problem, is that its color is off-white.\u00a0 I think it needs to be pure white in order to play well with the cabinet and a new mirror that I bought for the space.\u00a0 They are both pure white.\u00a0 However, that requires me to paint it, and I have been slow to get around to that.\u00a0 Meanwhile, it has been sitting in the middle of our great room.<\/p>\n

While it was sitting in the great room, I got an idea……..Maybe it would work better as a bench next to the dining room table instead of in the hallway.\u00a0 I did a little shifting of furniture, which took only a couple of minutes, and here’s the result.<\/p>\n

Should I keep the upholstered bench and paint the wooden bench, or should I move the upholstered bench upstairs?\u00a0 I’m on hold here till I hear from you all.\u00a0 You have always been so helpful in the past, and we always love getting your opinions.\u00a0 Please share in the comments.<\/p>\n
