If my annuals start looking &#8220;leggy&#8221;, I give them a big ole haircut.\u00a0 This goes for the ones in the ground and the ones in our planters.\u00a0 They might not look so great for a week or two, but when they grow back, they will be bushier and produce even more flowers.\u00a0 I often do this right before we leave for a vacation so that they can get through the ugly stage while we are away.\u00a0 Also, a nice drink of mid-summer fertilizer will also give them a boost.\u00a0 Oh, and if you have some geraniums you want to hold over until next year, follow <a href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2012\/10\/08\/how-to-save-your-geraniums-till-next-year\/\">this advice<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11704\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_2822-1-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"Herbs\" width=\"850\" height=\"566\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_2822-1-1024x681.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_2822-1-430x286.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CUT BACK HERBS SO THEY WILL GROW AGAIN<\/strong> &#8211; I love fresh flowers spread\u00a0 around the house.\u00a0 Even though my courtyard flowers aren&#8217;t grand, I can still use them to make tiny bouquets for the powder room, bedside table, bar, and foyer.\u00a0 Bringing some\u00a0 outdoor flowers in for small arrangements will brighten up your home&#8217;s interior.\u00a0 It will also make your annuals think they need to get to work and produce some more blossoms.\u00a0 You can also mix your garden&#8217;s flowers in with some you buy at the market.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18060\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF4106-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Sunflower\" width=\"950\" height=\"713\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF4106-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF4106-430x323.jpg 430w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF4106.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATER AND FEED <\/strong>&#8211;
