Hi everyone I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day. \u00a0We had a fun day with friends, and we are excited to kick off summer!<\/p>\n

I don’t know about you, but I seem to be slacking on some home projects. \u00a0We have a long list of things we want to do, but it is just not going as fast as we planned.\u00a0\u00a0 We keep getting side tracked. \u00a0We talked about doing bookshelves around the French doors in our playroom, but instead, we decided we really needed to focus on some garage organization. \u00a0Stay tuned.\u00a0 One of these days we will get the shelves done. This is what I am envisioning.<\/p>\n

One exciting thing that has happened in our house is our sofa<\/a> arrived!!!! \u00a0I LOVE IT. \u00a0Now I just need pillows. \u00a0Here is a shot without pillows.\u00a0 I have been searching, but pillows and lamps have always been hard for me. \u00a0Etsy<\/a> has some great options, but it might come down to me finding some fabric and convincing my mom to help me sew some for this new beauty.<\/p>\n

\"Give<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Have any of you tried Give Back Box<\/a>? \u00a0I recently heard about it and look forward to giving it a try. \u00a0Basically, you pack up any old clothes, shoes, etc. in an old box (you know all those Amazon boxes,) and you print a shipping label.\u00a0 You can ship for free, and your items go to charity. \u00a0It seems like a win, win. \u00a0You get to donate your old clothes, and you are recycling an old box.<\/p>\n

\"Fern\"<\/p>\n

My ferns have been hanging for about a month on our front porch, and I love the look they add. \u00a0However, birds have decided they are the best place to make a nest. \u00a0While I love the birds, I am not thrilled about them because last year when I was rocking away with Little Miss on the front porch, we discovered some baby birds in a nest. \u00a0Ahh…. we thought that was so sweet. \u00a0Well, about 30 minutes later as we were rocking away, a five foot black snake slithered his way onto our porch. \u00a0I, not being a fan of snakes, screamed, grabbed Little Miss ,and ran inside. \u00a0Shortly after, I didn’t notice anymore baby birds. \u00a0Now I am always looking for Mr. Black snake when I am watering the ferns this season. You might hear me screaming if I see him again.<\/p>\n

\"Apple<\/p>\n

I was treated to an Apple watch<\/a> this year for Mother’s Day, and I can’t believe how much I love this new gadget. \u00a0When it first came out, I honestly thought it was so stupid.\u00a0 I thought if someone had one, then they were way, way too addicted to technology. \u00a0I have changed my tune big time. \u00a0I was in need of a new watch and then started reading more about these Apple watches and became very interested. \u00a0I do my best to keep my phone down when playing and interacting with Little Miss. I think I do a pretty good job, and this makes it even easier. \u00a0If I get a text or phone call, I can just glance down and either take the call, read the text, or ignore. \u00a0I don’t have any social media apps or my mail loaded on the phone, and I plan to keep it that way. \u00a0One feature that is perfect for me is finding my phone. \u00a0I misplace my phone all the time, and now I just tap a button and it pings and or lights up. \u00a0This has already come in VERY handy. \u00a0Plus, a few times during naptime, Mom will call and I don’t know where my phone is located.\u00a0 Now I can answer the call on my watch and talk till I find my phone. \u00a0I also like the call feature since we do not have a landline.\u00a0 I now have a phone on me. \u00a0Another feature I have really enjoyed is the GPS on the watch. \u00a0When I am driving, I get a little vibration which is my indication that it is time to turn. \u00a0Such a great feature. \u00a0I still can’t believe I have this watch, and love it.<\/p>\n

I started watching the Bachelor and Bachelorette in college, and I am so excited about this season. \u00a0Have you been watching?<\/p>\n

Those are just some random thoughts from me. \u00a0Happy kick off to summer everyone!<\/p>\n
