{"id":35180,"date":"2017-05-02T18:00:18","date_gmt":"2017-05-02T23:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=35180"},"modified":"2017-04-23T18:29:41","modified_gmt":"2017-04-23T23:29:41","slug":"easy-way-to-create-a-vignette-like-stonegable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/?p=35180","title":{"rendered":"Easy Way to Create a Vignette Like Stonegable"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Oh dear!!!\u00a0 Are you prepared for a visitor who gives you a phone calls and says that she is stopping by for a little impromptu visit?\u00a0 If you are like me, you want your home to look fresh and clean when someone stops in.\u00a0 But what if your fresh flowers aren&#8217;t fresh anymore, the floors need to be vacuumed, and there are dirty dishes in the sink?\u00a0 The bottom line is that it is time to get to work&#8230;..STAT!!!\u00a0 If you are like most of us, then you and your guest will probably end up in the kitchen.\u00a0 That seems to be where most people prefer to hang out, even when it&#8217;s a fancy party.\u00a0 So, let&#8217;s concentrate on that area.\u00a0 First off, get rid of those dishes.\u00a0 Either wash them, put them in the dishwasher, or (and this is the worst case scenario) hide them in the oven.\u00a0 And then create a quick vignette for the kitchen table.\u00a0 One that&#8217;s colorful, cute, and uses items you probably have on hand.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-35200\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Screen-Shot-2017-04-23-at-6.11.13-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen shot from StoneGable\" width=\"700\" height=\"356\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Screen-Shot-2017-04-23-at-6.11.13-PM.png 588w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Screen-Shot-2017-04-23-at-6.11.13-PM-430x219.png 430w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Screen-Shot-2017-04-23-at-6.11.13-PM-300x153.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I have a major blog crush on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stonegableblog.com\/\">Stonegable<\/a>.\u00a0 I thinks it&#8217;s one of the best blogs out there.\u00a0 Yvonne\u00a0 puts so much thought and research into her blog and always has the best tips.\u00a0 A perfect example of her informational posts is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stonegableblog.com\/6-tips-for-creating-kitchen-table\/\">six tips for creating a kitchen table vignette<\/a>.\u00a0 She also has the most beautiful photos, and I am constantly wondering how she takes such colorful, crisp, and clear shots.\u00a0 That is always a challenge for me.\u00a0 She has loads of very good suggestions on every blog post that she writes.\u00a0 If you follow her tips, it would be easy\u00a0 to create your own version of a kitchen table vignette, and you can pretty much do it in about five minutes.\u00a0 I needed a quick one recently, and although it wasn&#8217;t as beautiful as Yvonne&#8217;s creations, it sure was better than a bare table.\u00a0 I followed five of her six tips, and created a nice vignette.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-35196\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4275-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Kitchen table vignette - The 2 Seasons\" width=\"640\" height=\"961\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4275-682x1024.jpg 682w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4275-215x323.jpg 215w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4275-300x451.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Her first tip is to use a runner<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0 Since I didn&#8217;t have a spring runner, I used a pale green checkered table cloth, and folded it to look like a runner.\u00a0 I failed on the second suggestion.\u00a0<strong> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">She says use a tray to hold everything<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t have a tray on hand, so I skipped this step.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-35195\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_4269-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Kitchen table vignette -
