Now and then Mom and I fill you in on what we have been reading.\u00a0 Since I was able to actually sit down and read when Yankee and I were on vacation, I thought I would share with you what I have been reading lately. \u00a0Now, let me just say that it is light and fluffy reading.\u00a0 There’s nothing heavy or intense, and I am all over the place in my book selections.<\/p>\n

\"Seinfeldia\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I loved Seinfeld<\/em> when it was on television, and I still love it. \u00a0Many times if Yankee and I want to watch a quick show, we pick a Seinfeld<\/em> episode because it’s a show we can both agree on, and\u00a0 it is still to this day so funny. \u00a0This book<\/a> is a fun read about the “behind the scenes” and how the show came together.\u00a0 The thing that surprised me most is that every episode was based on something that truly happened to one of the writers.\u00a0 Each story line came from real life.\u00a0 Those are the kinds of things I learned.\u00a0 Now I want to go back and start from the pilot after reading this book.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Next up is a suspense book. I never thought I would be a fan, but after really enjoying Girl on a Train<\/a> and Gone Girl, <\/a>I thought I would give this one a try. \u00a0It was a page turner and if you like a good mystery, suspense novel, you might want to give this book<\/a> a try.<\/p>\n

\"How<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I read about this book<\/a> in People<\/em> magazine, and I was laughing when I saw the title. \u00a0It was funny, had some good points, and I enjoyed the read. \u00a0I do have to say I do not hate Yankee after Little Miss came along, and I think he kept wondering why I was reading this book. \u00a0For sure, things are different after children, but we think we have slowly figured out this thing called parenting and enjoy our we time.<\/p>\n

\"Turning<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I bought this book<\/a> and had it on my Kindle a while but never read it till our trip. \u00a0I do love me some Housewives<\/em> shows, and of course, I wanted to read all about prison life for Teresa.\u00a0 If you love the Housewives<\/em>, then you know what I’m talking about.\u00a0 Again, it was nothing heavy, but I enjoyed reading it because I felt like a fly on the wall.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Next up on my reading list is\u00a0 The Happiest Kids in the World<\/a>. \u00a0I can’t wait to dive into this book. \u00a0Let’s hope I can read more than a few pages at night before falling asleep.\u00a0 The Netherlands is my mom’s favorite country, and she wants to read this book, too.<\/p>\n
