Our powder room reveal is here! \u00a0After having a ho-hum powder room for years and then a navy powder room that was a total fail, I am happy to invite you into our home today and show you the little gem that measures only 3 feet by 8 feet and sits off of our foyer. \u00a0In this post<\/a>, I gave you a little sneak peek at what I had planned for the room. \u00a0Well, in my book the real thing is even better. \u00a0I packed a lot into this small space. \u00a0I wanted to create a room that had a little bit of Janette and a little bit French and English country. \u00a0I wanted it to be a room that caught our guests’ attention. \u00a0I wanted them to say, “Wow! \u00a0What an adorable powder room, and by the way, it smells great, too!” \u00a0And you know what??? I think I did it, but I’m going to let you be the judge.<\/span><\/p>\n

It all started when I saw this great wallpaper in a random magazine. \u00a0It was the navy and white that I love, and it has brightened the room up so very much. \u00a0This room doesn’t have a window which makes \u00a0a bright wallpaper almost a necessity. \u00a0Having no window also means that getting good photos with my skills is a challenge.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I love how it looks with this green and white buffalo check skirt that hides all of the extra towels, etc. under the sink. \u00a0And I love how it looks with this old rug that I found online. \u00a0The checks and the rug give it the English country that I was looking for.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Although I kept most of the art and accessories that already were in the powder room when it was navy, I just had to bring in some new things. \u00a0You know……I wanted to make it look even better. \u00a0Not only does my new accessory look right at home in its new spot, but it smells so great. \u00a0That cute little candle is from The NEW Atmosphere Collection\u2122 Fine Home Fragrance by Glade\u00ae<\/a>. I bought the N\u00b04 Tempted\u2122, patchouli amber fragrance, which provides a lusty aroma.<\/h3>\n

The NEW Atmosphere Collection\u2122 Fine Home Fragrance by Glade\u00ae has so many special qualities about it. \u00a0First of all, I bought the products at my local Kroger, but it’s a soy candle that looks and smells as if it is right out of a specialty shop. \u00a0This new line of soy candles and other products come in four glamorous fragrances and were created by renown fragrance designer Ann Gottlieb. \u00a0The NEW Atmosphere Collection\u2122 Fine Home Fragrance by Glade\u00ae didn’t stop with just candles. \u00a0They also offer PlugIns\u00ae, and they all come in four designer fragrances.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I love having the Glade\u00ae<\/a> PlugIns\u00ae because they provide an ongoing fragrance when I am away from the room.<\/h3>\n

Just like the Glade\u00ae fragrances that fit all tastes, I think this geometric wallpaper could fit in with any style. \u00a0This room is very old-school with a vessel sink that sits on top of a Carrara marble counter, and the walls just blend right in with it all. \u00a0My candle and Glade\u00ae PlugIns\u00ae give it a clean, velvety scent.<\/span><\/h3>\n

There are so many textures, too. \u00a0The marble paired with the chrome, and the bamboo all play with each other so well.<\/span>

The art in the room is all very special to me. \u00a0I bought this print at a Paris flea market. \u00a0It is a vintage advertisement from a 1950’s magazine. \u00a0It adds to the French and English country vibe I was going for.<\/span><\/h3>\n

These two came from an antique show a few years back, and I love them because Mr. Right calls me Jay. \u00a0I do not call him Finch. \u00a0Just sayin….<\/span><\/h3>\n
