When my mom was here for Christmas, we started talking decorating and clothes.\u00a0 Those are topics that often come up in our conversations, along with talking about Little Miss.\u00a0 We both agreed that we like to have the color blue around us and on us in January. \u00a0In fact, in this house I have added more blue and navy than in our last house, and I plan to add more in my everyday style. \u00a0I have shared some things I am enjoying in the blue category.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0I don’t know what it is, but I am loving this blue velvet sofa. \u00a0I think it would look great in an office.\u00a0 Too bad it won’t fit in mine. My office isn’t quite big enough for a sofa.\u00a0 The blue and white ginger jars are really popular, and I lucked out finding some at our local Habitat Restore for $5 each. \u00a0I wish I bought more, but I found these at Pier One.<\/a>\u00a0 They are really reasonable and are currently on sale. I have also included the ginger jar prints that would be a nice addition to a home.\u00a0 I think these would look really good in a dining or formal living room.<\/h3>\n

Another fun way to add blue to your home would be with a pretty striped rug. \u00a0This is indoor\/outdoor, so you know it is easy to clean. \u00a0The pillows are pillow covers from Ikea, and I have two on my sofa, and Mom has two. \u00a0I love the size and the quality of these covers. \u00a0I have even debated about getting them monogrammed. \u00a0I do live in the South, so the more monogramming the better! \u00a0The throw looks more black in the picture.\u00a0 Mom and I both have one in navy, and it is a perfect way to add some blue to my sofa along with the pillows. \u00a0It comes in many colors. \u00a0I am hoping to get a new sofa soon, and pillows and throws are holding me over till that day happens.<\/h3>\n

I thought it would be fun to also share some blue in every day style. \u00a0The clutch is adorable and from Stella & Dot. \u00a0A navy blazer can dress up a look without much effort.\u00a0 I have the shoes in gray, and Mom has them in black.\u00a0 They are like walking on air.\u00a0 I\u00a0 was excited to see them come in navy.\u00a0 They are the most comfortable shoes and are awesome for travel.\u00a0 Looks like it’s time to add another color. \u00a0I have been selling Stella & Dot on the side for a few years, and I have grown to love accessories and how versatile their products are. \u00a0Here is a fun necklace that is basically four necklaces in one.<\/h3>\n

There you go –\u00a0 a variety of blues from dark navy to sky blue. We think adding blue to our lives is fun.<\/h3>\n
