As you all know by now, I like to change out the arrangement on the dresser in the foyer practically every month.\u00a0 Recently I created the Fall in the Foyer, 2016 edition.\u00a0 As always, I searched the house for things that have a fall vibe.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0\"Fall<\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

This lamp was originally a cream can, and I bought it at a farm auction years and years ago.\u00a0 My mother painted the can, and I used it like that for a while.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

Then a few years ago I came\u00a0 up with the idea of converting it into a lamp.\u00a0 Last fall it was on a stand in the sun room<\/a>, and this year it landed in the foyer.\u00a0 The colors are so fallish (is that a word?), and it is a great starting point for a fall vignette.<\/h3>\n

I always like to use books, because the colors of the covers are an instant way to create a foundation for the look.<\/h3>\n

I then gathered up the demi-john that I purchased at a street market in France.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0\"Fall<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

I pulled out the bundle of wheat that has been with us in three houses, and it is still good.\u00a0 I just store it away in tissue paper every November.\u00a0 It is always good in a fall vignette, and it has been in quite a few.<\/h3>\n

Then I added a cute little cache pot that I won in a charity auction.\u00a0 Flowers from the grocery complete the look.<\/h3>\n

This is what the foyer looked like last fall.<\/h3>\n

And here is this year again.\u00a0 I must add that the rug was one of the best purchases I have ever made.\u00a0 It makes our week-end trip to Turkey<\/a> so worth it.<\/h3>\n
