I love paisley, any color, style, and size of paisley.\u00a0 In fact, Jordan once had a cat named “Paisley”, because she loves it, too.\u00a0 I have a wonderful red paisley fabric that I have used to make pillows and as a sink curtain in our powder room.\u00a0 However, I couldn’t get enough of it.\u00a0 I wanted more. When I was thinking about the notes I will write to people who give us gifts or invite us to their Christmas functions, I came up with a great idea.\u00a0 Why not use the fabric as the background and make DIY Christmas notecards?\u00a0 I could DIY them just like I did these<\/a> last spring.<\/h3>\n

I am so excited about the way they turned out and can’t wait to get out my vintage Tiffany pen and start writing.<\/h3>\n

The process was very simple.\u00a0 I took a photo of my red paisley fabric and then I edited the front of a notecard on Picmonkey<\/a>.\u00a0 I decided to create a J H monogram and add it to the middle.\u00a0 I would love a custom monogram, but since I don’t have one, this was the next best thing.\u00a0 At least it’s original.<\/h3>\n

Then I digitally sent it to a printing company, and the finished cards were in my hands in about a week.\u00a0 (They are showing up as orange in the photos for some reason, but they really are a nice red.)\u00a0 I am not so great with technology, but this project was simple enough for me to do.\u00a0 Those of you who do have the tech gene can really go to town on the way you design your cards.\u00a0 It’s a fun and easy project, and I highly recommend that you add it to what is probably already huge “to-do” list.<\/h3>\n
