It’s almost that time again……..<\/p>\n

Each spring for the past six years, I have hired a small bike and boat company in Holland \u00a0and along with 18 bicycling friends spend a week or two cycling through adorable Dutch villages. \u00a0We all chip in to pay for the boat, and we meet up in Amsterdam where our journey begins.<\/p>\n

It works like this: \u00a0We sleep on the boat in cozy little cabins and get up around 8 a.m. \u00a0After eating a hearty breakfast, we, along with our wonderful guide Francine, ride away for a day of cycling. \u00a0We meander through the numerous bicycle trails, stop at museums and interesting sites, eat a picnic lunch, and meet up with the boat that evening in another village. \u00a0 After a snack, a shower, and maybe a nap, we have a delicious dinner and repeat the same routine the next day. \u00a0It is pure heaven.<\/p>\n

This year Jordan and her husband will join us and celebrate their first wedding anniversary on board. \u00a0That will be fun.<\/p>\n
