Happy Friday! \u00a0 I decided that since it is Friday, and the weekend is so close, to share a cocktail that is perfect for the summer. \u00a0I grew up in Kentucky and lived seven years in Georgia, so, I am familiar with sweet tea. \u00a0A couple of years ago one of my \u00a0friends introduced me to Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka<\/a><\/span>. \u00a0She mixed a cocktail combining a shot of it with some Crystal Light lemonade. \u00a0It was unlike any mixed drink I had before.<\/h3>\n

This sweet tea vodka is great to mix with some lemonade at a summer get-together and to sip away. \u00a0There are many brands out there, but I have to say my favorite is Firefly. \u00a0Firefly also has many other flavors, but I am sticking to the sweet tea.<\/h3>\n

I guess Firefly has latched on to the popularity of low-cal mixed drinks because they now have Skinny Sweet Tea vodka. \u00a0I haven’t tried this version yet, but I plan to buy some soon.<\/h3>\n

In Syracuse, they are introducing this low-cal beverage slowly, as if we are a focus group. \u00a0They are only selling it in mini bottles to see if it will be a hit before they spend the bucks on the bigger bottles. \u00a0I know it will be popular in the South. \u00a0I just hope the northerners develop a taste for it. \u00a0Then I won’t have to ask my mom to send it to me.<\/h3>\n

Even though this has nothing to do with tea or alcohol, I \u00a0thought I would let you see how Gracie is growing. \u00a0Here is a picture to keep you updated. \u00a0She loves being in the backyard when we are working on getting it ready for sod. \u00a0As you can see, we still have lots of work, but slowly we are making progress.<\/h3>\n
