The other day when I was browsing the aisles of Target<\/a>, I discovered that they had removable wallpaper<\/a>. \u00a0I thought… hmm… I want to add a little something to the back of the bookcases in our office, and this would be the perfect thing.\u00a0 I tossed a few rolls into my cart, and I was ready to head home.<\/h3>\n

I decided to go for this yellow and white pattern<\/a>.\u00a0 It was something light that wouldn’t be in your face too much. \u00a0The nice thing is if I want something more dramatic, I can remove this and apply another pattern.<\/h3>\n

Are these shelves styled perfectly and ready for a magazine shoot?\u00a0 No. \u00a0Is this a true working bookshelf? \u00a0Yes.\u00a0 Both Yankee and I are always coming in and grabbing books from the shelves. \u00a0While we do love our Kindles, there is something special about real books in the home.<\/h3>\n

This was super easy. All I did was take everything off the shelves and measure. \u00a0I set up the rolls on the table and measured and cut to size to fit the shelves. \u00a0Once the pieces were cut, I removed the backing and pressed the paper to the back of the shelves. \u00a0I did this by myself, but two people would make it a tad easier.\u00a0 It isn’t as messy as hanging real wallpaper because water and glue are not needed.<\/h3>\n

Voila! \u00a0 It was just a small change that adds a little something more to these shelves. \u00a0Now looking at the photos, I want to add hardware to the bottom cabinets.<\/h3>\n
