Last week when I showed you the new to me bench in our kitchen eating area<\/a>, I promised to show the new rug that we recently purchased.<\/h3>\n

I’m really happy with the way it looks and also appreciate the comments\/suggestions some of you made about my bench color dilemma.<\/h3>\n

I bought it because I felt this red rag rug that we have had for ages was looking a little too country for the updated look I am going for.<\/h3>\n

The blues are a perfect match for our kitchen ceiling (iceberg by Sherwin Williams, and the walls are stucco by SW.)<\/h3>\n

As a refresher, this photo from the movie Something’s Gotta Give<\/em> was my inspiration.<\/h3>\n

I think the rug that I bought does a good job of capturing the look from the popular movie set. \u00a0Don’t you? \u00a0I also mentioned in\u00a0this post<\/a> that I would show you what the wall looks like after moving Lulubelle. \u00a0Well, it hasn’t been hung yet, but I promise you that \u00a0as soon as it is, you will be the first to know.<\/h3>\n
