(See note at bottom.) \u00a0She saved her Christmas card boxes, and we added waxed paper and the fudge, and I presented it to my teachers.\u00a0 They LOVED it!!!\u00a0 We published this recipe when we first started blogging, but since our numbers have grown so much since then, we bet the majority of you don&#8217;t know about it.\u00a0 It is easy and delicious.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not the Christmas season in my house without it.\u00a0 I cook up a batch for Mr. Right and me and stick it in the freezer.\u00a0 When we need a little somethin&#8217; sweet, we know where to find it.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-25401\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Peanut-Butter-Fudge-681x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Peanut Butter Fudge\" width=\"403\" height=\"606\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Peanut-Butter-Fudge-681x1024.jpg 681w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Peanut-Butter-Fudge-215x323.jpg 215w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 403px) 100vw, 403px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE<br \/>\n2 cups white sugar<br \/>\n2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed<br \/>\n1 cup milk<br \/>\nCook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till it gets to the soft ball stage.<br \/>\nRemove from the heat, stir in 1 cup of peanut butter and 1 tablespoon of butter.<br \/>\nQuickly pour into a buttered 8 x 8 inch pan.\u00a0 Allow to cool before cutting.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>NOTE: \u00a0Since she didn\u2019t have a candy thermometer, she would drop about 1\/2 teaspoon of the boiling mixture into iced water and roll it with her fingers. When it formed a soft ball, that meant it was time to remove the pan from the heat and stir in the peanut butter and butter. If you use a candy thermometer, it will have a temp for soft ball.
