I should probably not be writing this post right now.\u00a0 I should probably count to 10.\u00a0 I should probably follow my mother’s rule and say nothing if I can’t say something nice.\u00a0 I should probably be the nice blogger and never bash a potential advertiser.\u00a0 I should be thinking about pretty things like puppies and butterflies.\u00a0 But, I am going to ignore all of those rules and dive right in with a rant, even in this season of goodwill and good cheer.\u00a0 My Kitchen-Aid mixer is stuck – again.<\/h3>\n

I just made pizza dough<\/a> because Mr. Right and I are going to eat pizza and watch basketball on television.\u00a0 I used the paddle attachment and let the mixer do the kneading.\u00a0 Everything went great until it was time to remove the bowl from the mixer to clean it.\u00a0 It wouldn’t budge – again.<\/h3>\n

That’s right.\u00a0 This has happened to me over and over and over again.\u00a0 It’s not fun having a mixing bowl full of delicate cake batter and then not be able to remove the bowl to pour the batter into the pans.\u00a0 I even sprayed it with cooking spray before I started mixing the dough.\u00a0 It didn’t help\u00a0 at all.<\/h3>\n

I thought I was the only person this has happened to and never bothered to contact the company.\u00a0 Then Jordan was here in November when it happened, and she said she had the same problem with her Kitchen Aid.\u00a0 And get this – there is even a video on Youtube <\/a>with instructions on how to get it to release.\u00a0 And just as an FYI – Kitchen Aid came up with the four steps for releasing the bowl, and the last step involves a mallet.\u00a0 So, they are obviously aware of the problem.\u00a0 There could be hundreds of us out there dealing with this major inconvenience.\u00a0 Thousands maybe, because over 11,000 viewers have watched the video.<\/h3>\n

So tell me, have any of you had this problem?\u00a0 Please let us know.\u00a0 Okay, I am now going to go watch Youtube to follow the four-step process to hopefully get the darn thing unstuck.<\/h3>\n
