My back porch has evolved over time. \u00a0First it was just a store-all room, and then when Mom came to town a few years ago, we painted it<\/a> and put our own touch on it. \u00a0When you last saw it, the porch was home to a bistro table and the\u00a0changing table turned bar.<\/a><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

We continued to use the porch this summer, but I decided I wanted to do something new. \u00a0I like to go on the porch and do some computer work at the bistro table.\u00a0 Although it is very cute, it is not very comfortable.<\/h3>\n

The other day I was in Lowe’s, and they were having a massive sale on patio furniture. \u00a0I thought a little love seat would be perfect for the porch.\u00a0 It would be comfortable, and I could enjoy my morning coffee out there and do a little work.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

This is the one we settled on because I thought it was the most comfortable. \u00a0Plus, it came with a coffee table, which was an added bonus. \u00a0We realized if we used the coffee table we would be losing the bar because of the small space. \u00a0The bar had a good two seasons with us, and I was okay with seeing it go to its next home.<\/h3>\n

The set was super easy to put together, and I did it in less than an hour.<\/h3>\n

The rug that was under the bistro table was not quite cutting it, so I am now in search of a new fun porch rug. \u00a0Since fall is in the air here, I have added some fall touches to the porch so I can relax and enjoy my mornings even when they are cool.<\/h3>\n

This love seat needed some pillows, and I had some extras that worked perfectly for\u00a0 fall. \u00a0The two square pillows are from Hobby Lobby, and the larger flower pillow is from Ikea.<\/h3>\n

I added a heated throw to the porch for the cooler mornings. \u00a0This heated throw blanket<\/a> is amazing and is a must \u00a0for folks living in a colder climate.<\/h3>\n

I added a few fall touches to the coffee table.<\/h3>\n

Yankee picked up some beautiful fall flowers that I put in Mason jars and have scattered them around the house. \u00a0I wanted more color so I added some fall colored candles. \u00a0I \u00a0love our custom monogram so anytime I can use it on something, I do. I was sure to put it on the coasters I made for the tray.<\/h3>\n

Coffee is a must for me in the morning. \u00a0My mom handed down some of her red Crate and Barrel dishes to me, and I love to bring\u00a0 them out this time of year.<\/h3>\n

The decoration are simple but just enough for me and the porch this season.<\/h3>\n

Now you know what I am up to on those early mornings – drinking my coffee and catching up on news and blogs. \u00a0So far the updated change has been great. \u00a0Let’s just hope it doesn’t get too cold too soon.<\/h3>\n
