Plus, we can talk about decorating and DIY projects all day long, and bloggers get it. Right now I am starting to finally put away summer and start pulling out some of my fall pillows, throws, lamps, etc.\u00a0 Fall is my favorite season, and I really like the way our house looks in the autumn light.<\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jordan<\/span>\u00a0&#8211; Our lifestyle blog is somewhat different because we blog together as mother\/daughter.\u00a0 Jordan lives in the north, and I am in the south.\u00a0 She has been married for four years, and we have been married forever.\u00a0 She and her husband have been living in their first house together and making it a home.\u00a0 We are now empty-nesters and have downsized to a townhouse.\u00a0 Just coordinating this creation of ours long-distance really does make us different from most.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jordan<\/span>\u00a0<em>&#8211;\u00a0<\/em> Like many others, we are a lifestyle blog.\u00a0 With that theme, we can pretty much blog about anything like decorating, travel, food, books, projects, upcycling.\u00a0 We differ because we get to put our own stamp on projects to make them our own.\u00a0 We might get an idea in a magazine, from another blogger, or on Pinterest, but when we recreate that project our way, then it is our taste, technique, etc.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-24497\" alt=\"Fall in the courtyard\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_9147-1024x681.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_9147-1024x681.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IMG_9147-430x286.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>3) <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>\u00a0Why do I write\/create what I do?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Janette<\/span> &#8211; I majored in journalism in college, and my first job after graduating was as a reporter on a small daily newspaper.\u00a0 It was my favorite job of all time, but sadly I gave it up for teaching, which I did for 18 years.\u00a0 I missed writing and decided blogging would be a great way to get me back to what I love doing.<\/h3>\n<h3>.<\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jordan<\/span> &#8211; As a trained journalist, I was\u00a0 taught to sit down and start typing.\u00a0 So, that&#8217;s what I do.\u00a0 Of course, I need something to write about.\u00a0 Jordan and I talk almost daily about what&#8217;s coming up and what is on our calendars and to-do lists.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jordan<\/span>&#8211; When we are being good bloggers, we keep our projects and blog ideas on a calendar so we know exactly who is doing what, and what will be published and when.\u00a0 When we are being bad bloggers, we call each other an hour before our self-imposed deadline and see if the other person has something to write about.\u00a0 When I write I post I just sit down and go to town. \u00a0When I am done writing I stop and walk away. \u00a0I do not re read my post to check for errors till another sitting at the computer.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Next Week\u2019s Bloggers<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>This tour is so much fun, and now we get to \u00a0introduce you to some other great bloggers whom we have invited to do next week\u2019s tour. \u00a0I will add links to the post next week, but be sure to check out these creative and talented ladies.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>First is Wendy whom we had lunch with one day at Haven. \u00a0She is so sweet, and she has the blog <a href=\"http:\/\/www.antebellum1862.blogspot.com\">Antebellum 1862<\/a>. Wendy lives in the south with her husband and two daughters.
