Maybe that headline should say what<\/span><\/em> is the best paint color?\u00a0 Last week when I made our big announcement<\/a>, I said we weren’t going to start the room for a while.\u00a0 Well, Mom wants to paint her guest room, <\/a>and I decided to hop on board and go ahead and paint our future child’s room.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

I guess that means I am making a mini-start on the space.\u00a0 We thought it would be interesting (to us, at least)\u00a0 to use the same paint color on both of our projects even though we are hundreds of miles apart.\u00a0 It will be fun to see how one color looks in the two different spaces.\u00a0 Our room faces the west, and her room faces the east.\u00a0 Her room right now is a bright yellow, and our room is a deep gold.<\/h3>\n

This is how far we have gotten…….And here’s a total disclaimer:\u00a0 These paint swatches all look much, much, much lighter in person than they do on your computer screen.\u00a0 Mostly, they are varying shades of light neutral.\u00a0 Stay tuned.\u00a0 We will have one picked out in no time at all.\u00a0 Oh, and I should tell\u00a0 you that we are both going to use our favorite brand of paint (they’re not the same) and have the same color mixed by the two different brands.<\/h3>\n
