I love high tea. \u00a0Every time I visit a major international city, I always search out its best hotel for a formal afternoon tea. \u00a0It is one of my great pleasures in life.<\/p>\n

I carry that love of being pampered into my own home, and each year I donate a high tea for six to the annual silent auction of an organization I belong to. \u00a0It gives me the chance to pamper others while raising money for an organization I strongly believe in.<\/p>\n

I hope you enjoy these photos of a mid-winter tea I recently hosted.<\/p>\n

The menu was tomato bisque, cranberry-orange scones, goat cheese tart with green salad, and an assortment of cookies and cakes. \u00a0They were served with an English tea with lemon – not milk.<\/p>\n
