special raises the fun level for the evening.\u00a0 Last week-end when we had some <a title=\"Enjoying Some Red, White, and Blue\" href=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/2014\/05\/26\/enjoying-some-red-white-and-blue\/\">friends over for dinner<\/a>, I had a pitcher of white sangria waiting for them (and us) when they rang the doorbell.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-22768\" alt=\"White Sangria - The 2 Seasons\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/White-Sangria-1024x681.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/White-Sangria-1024x681.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/White-Sangria-430x286.jpg 430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">White sangria is made with white wine, my drug of choice.\u00a0 I specifically like Pinot Grigio and so that&#8217;s the wine I used.\u00a0 You can easily follow this same recipe and substitute red wine.\u00a0 Actually, red sangria is more popular than the white version.\u00a0 I checked several recipes on-line for the concoction and then blended my own version.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">WHITE SANGRIA<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">1 bottle white wine<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">1\/2 cup sugar<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">1\/2 cup orange liqueur<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">1\/2 cup rum<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">Various fresh fruits (You can use apples, oranges, lemons, grapes, peaches, and\/or pineapple)1 bottle of tonic water or club soda<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; Slice the fruits that you want to use.\u00a0 For the large pitcher that I used, I sliced one orange, one apple, and some grapes.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0&#8211; Stir together sugar, liqueur, rum, and wine in a pitcher till the sugar is dissolved.\u00a0 Refrigerate till serving time.\u00a0 This will give the fruits and liquid a chance to absorb each others&#8217;
