Hey, ya’ll.\u00a0 Jordan has been working on a few projects, including a complete room overhaul, but\u00a0 while she is getting everything tucked in, I’m here to share.\u00a0 I mentioned in Monday’s post that I bought a little somethin’, somethin’ at the antique show <\/a>this past week-end.\u00a0 That admission came after an explanation about how liberating it was to get rid of half of our belongings when we down-sized almost three years ago.\u00a0 I also added that my new purchase has a potential shelf life, but I hope not…… I hope not, but it could happen.<\/h3>\n

I’ve been jonesing for a fiddle leaf fern, and when I saw this lovely, she became mine.\u00a0 She is gorgeous.\u00a0 Her leaves are a little wonky right now, but they will settle down once she finds the sunlight coming through our windows.<\/h3>\n

One of the nice things about the Bluegrass Trust Antiques and Garden Show is that they have items in a variety of price ranges.\u00a0 Someone can purchase a vintage postcard for $3.00 or a fine piece of furniture or art for thousand of dollars.\u00a0 Also, in addition to great antiques, there are some great nurseries selling plants.<\/h3>\n

Even though our great room has some plants, I thought this book case needed to be anchored by a plant to soften it somewhat.\u00a0 I just happened to have an old six-gallon crock that is the perfect vessel for holding my new purchase.<\/h3>\n

Hopefully, my green thumb will kick into fourth gear, and this little lady will grow and flourish in its new home.<\/h3>\n
