I can’t believe Thanksgiving is so close. Last year we started a tradition at our house that was a huge success. \u00a0You might want to start the same tradition during your Thanksgiving celebration.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0I made a thankful table cloth. \u00a0It was super easy to make and overall a huge hit. \u00a0This\u00a0thankful table cloth<\/em>\u00a0can be used year after year.\u00a0First, I bought a drop cloth and washed and dried it. \u00a0Then I ironed it.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

We used this table cloth for dinner Wednesday night because it is a more casual setting. I wanted to have a casual table and start our own Thanksgiving tradition. \u00a0It is going to be a\u00a0thankful table cloth<\/em>\u00a0that can be used every year that we celebrate Thanksgiving with the family at our house.<\/h3>\n

I used our dining room table as my craft table since it is so big. \u00a0I stretched the drop cloth onto the table and found the center.<\/h3>\n

Since this will be our thankful table cloth, I decided to stencil “Give Thanks.” \u00a0I had some stencils on hand from other projects and just used them. \u00a0I bought brown fabric paint at Michaels.<\/h3>\n

I left some space in the center so I could add a center piece. \u00a0Right now I’m using \u00a0a pitcher filled with wheat.<\/h3>\n

Next up was the fun part. \u00a0I purchased some Sharpie permanent \u00a0markers. \u00a0I had each person who was visiting with us for Thanksgiving write a message on the cloth about what they were thankful for. \u00a0They also dated and signed the cloth. \u00a0It was a hit, and everyone loved the new tradition.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0This year we will be spending Thanksgiving in Kentucky so the thankful table cloth remain in a storage bin till next year when we celebrate again together here in Syracuse. \u00a0I know this cloth will get lots of years of use and many more messages of thanks.<\/h3>\n
