I love creative ways to have art in our house. \u00a0When we toured the\u00a0Parade of Homes<\/a>\u00a0this year in Syracuse, I saw something in a bathroom that I knew would be perfect in our home.<\/h3>\n

When we got \u00a0this new to me piece of furniture in our foyer area, I knew it was time to spiff up the wall beside the dresser. \u00a0Before, I had two small mirrors, but they were not working.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"Silver<\/p>\n

The wall space to the right there is long and narrow, and I wanted something classy to hang on it. \u00a0I love the idea of plates, but Mr. Spring cannot get on board with plates on a wall. \u00a0This even goes back to our dating days. \u00a0He has never been a fan, and since we live in this house together, I decided I would pass on the plates. \u00a0But maybe I could sneak in some silver platters!!<\/h3>\n

\u00a0\"Silver<\/p>\n

And here they are!!! \u00a0This project was very reasonable. I was able to buy all these platters for less than $10 at a thrift store. \u00a0Now, they did need some TLC, and I had to break out the silver polish to make them shine. \u00a0I know that I will have to continue to polish these trays, but I do not mind.<\/h3>\n

To hang the trays, I used velcro strips, and they work like a charm. \u00a0I went with one on most of the platters, but I attached two to the largest tray just to be on the safe side.one \u00a0 If I have a party and need a silver tray, they are easy enough to take off of the wall and use.<\/h3>\n

My mom stood back as I played around with positioning them on the wall. \u00a0 Again, they were easy to change around with the velcro strips. \u00a0My goal is to fill the whole wall all the way to the floor. \u00a0Since I bought all of the silver trays at the thrift store, I am checking them out to find more.<\/h3>\n

I hope you enjoyed my easy art that could work in multiple rooms in a house. \u00a0They are like shiny jewelry for the room. \u00a0Oh, and in case you are wondering, \u00a0Mr. Spring likes the platters since they are not plates. \u00a0I think that is a good compromise in the marriage department.<\/h3>\n
