Hi everyone!\u00a0 I know it is Tuesday, but I hope you all had a great weekend. \u00a0Mine was filled with a day of wine tasting with some of my Stella & Dot ladies out in the finger lakes, cheering on Mr. Spring in a triathlon, and seeing some beautiful homes at the Parade of Homes.<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

I have lots of pictures so enjoy the homes. \u00a0I do have to say they were taken with an iphone.\u00a0 They are not the greatest, but you will get an idea. \u00a0These homes are all brand new in a new development on the outskirts of Syracuse.<\/h3>\n

It was fun to see the different styles. \u00a0This one was very modern, and you can’t tell from the outside, but it has 3000 square feet of living.<\/h3>\n

First up, I am going to show you a couple of dining rooms in these homes.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

This house was ready for fall. \u00a0I love the art hanging on the wall. \u00a0The colors are so vibrant, and it is also perfect for the dining area.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

This was the dining area in the modern house, and I thought it fit the style of the house.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Next up, most of the homes had an office that could be turned into a bedroom since they all had a closet. \u00a0Here are a couple:<\/h3>\n

I love the globes in this room, especially the chalkboard globe.<\/h3>\n

This is the only whole kitchen shot I got. \u00a0Everyone always hangs out in the kitchen, and it was true for the Parade of Homes. \u00a0Overall, they were beautiful.<\/h3>\n

I have to give a shout out to my friend Kristina who painted this in the kitchen of one of the homes. \u00a0This year they had local artist have some art in each home. \u00a0This home had very bright bold colors that the owners picked. \u00a0The tree works great with their theme and color scheme. \u00a0Awesome job, Kristina!<\/h3>\n

The kids’ rooms were so cute and creative.<\/h3>\n

This would be perfect for a little basketball fan.<\/h3>\n

The curtains in the sports room were really creative with the referee whistle.<\/h3>\n

I loved this headboard.\u00a0 I thought it was adorable if you wanted to go with a pirate theme.<\/h3>\n

Another sports room that was adorable, and this one is for the baseball player.<\/h3>\n

This nursery I thought was so sweet. \u00a0At first I thought it was wallpaper on the wall, but it was painted, and it looked amazing.<\/h3>\n

The kids’ bath in one of the homes was decorated after the book The Hungry Caterpillar<\/em>.<\/h3>\n

This is so bright and cheery for the children.<\/h3>\n

Next up are some master bedrooms. \u00a0The trend was very tall ceilings.<\/h3>\n

This bedroom had a beautiful balcony off of it. \u00a0Mr. Spring that joked all this bedroom needed was a wine frig.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We turned the corner to the bathroom, and what did we see but a wine frig and coffee bar set up in the bathroom.\u00a0 It’s a nice feature, but really can’t you go downstairs to get a cup of coffee or your wine?\u00a0 We do need to get our 10,000 steps a day, and this feature does not help get them.<\/h3>\n

This was a pretty master bath.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This master bath was in the modern house, and I thought it worked great with the whole modern theme.<\/h3>\n

By far this is was my favorite bathroom. \u00a0This was huge – much bigger than one of our bedrooms, but it was fun to see. \u00a0Ahh!!!! I just loved the setup and style.<\/h3>\n

This was a very modern tub.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"Half<\/p>\n

This sink was in a half bath, and I LOVED it. \u00a0I just wish our full bath was a tad bigger to have this sink.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

I hope you enjoyed the tour. \u00a0While it was fun to escape and picture what it would be like to live in one of these new huge homes, I am very happy with our bungalow. \u00a0At this point in our lives, we enjoy having a good walk score where we can walk to go out to dinner, bike to the grocery store, library etc.<\/h3>\n
