I bought this vintage bar <\/a>off \u00a0Craigslist right when we moved into our house. \u00a0It was one of the first projects I did on the blog. \u00a0I painted it, and it has been a good little cabinet to use in our dining room.<\/h3>\n

This bar\/cabinet sits in the corner of our dining room and holds our alcohol and drinking glasses for different drinks. \u00a0Since I painted it, it has just sat in the corner. \u00a0However, I realized after I put up the gold striped curtains<\/a>\u00a0last week that the bar was just lost in the room. \u00a0I decided to dress it up with some flashy new pulls.<\/h3>\n

See these pulls? \u00a0Neither could I, and I really<\/em> couldn’t see them from across the room. \u00a0I decided it was time for a quick change. \u00a0I went to Hobby Lobby because they have a good selection of pulls at great prices – especially when they are on sale.<\/h3>\n

I found these cute flowers and even better they were 50% off. \u00a0They reminded me of costume jewelry from the 1950’s. \u00a0Don’t you think they look like a pair of earrings from that era???? \u00a0That’s why I love them. \u00a0We have some mid-century going on in our 1928 bungalow.<\/h3>\n

I thought this would be one-minute project. \u00a0I would unscrew the old knobs, and screw in the new ones. \u00a0It turns out that the new ones were a tad thicker and wouldn’t fit in the hole that was currently in the bar.<\/h3>\n

Down to the basement I went to get the drill. \u00a0The quick action of this bad boy made the opening \u00a0the size needed for the new knobs.<\/h3>\n

Even though I had to make a minor adjustment to the bar, this project was super fast. \u00a0Plus, it is just what the bar needed. \u00a0Some vintage flower knobs to go with the vintage bar.<\/h3>\n
