I live in the city of Syracuse, and it is amazing how much of a neighborhood feel we have in this area. \u00a0I even wrote about the history and gave a mini tour of the neighborhood here.<\/a>\u00a0 There is a creek, or we call it a brook, that is about a mile long near our house. \u00a0There is a street on each side of it so that it serves as the median. \u00a0 We have multiple end-caps along the street to store plowed snow in our winters months. \u00a0 Last year, we noticed a birdhouse up at one of the end-caps. \u00a0Then one by one birdhouses started popping up at the other end-caps. \u00a0Before we knew it, someone was planting flowers. \u00a0Now we have these fun birdhouses and beautiful flowers for the neighborhood to enjoy.<\/h3>\n

This was the first birdhouse to appear, and I felt like it happened overnight. \u00a0The person who had this idea made the birdhouse to look exactly like his house which is on the corner. \u00a0It think it such a cute birdhouse just like his charming house.<\/h3>\n

Right now the flowers are in bloom and so beautiful.<\/h3>\n

Another birdhouse to appear is a church in the neighborhood. \u00a0This one on the end-cap is across the street from the church.<\/h3>\n

The first signs of spring for us which might not come till May are the jonquils and tulips that fill in the end-caps. \u00a0Then everyone knows our winter is finally over.<\/h3>\n

Next up a airplane birdhouse. \u00a0I do not know the history behind this birdhouse, but it is unique, and I am a fan.<\/h3>\n

\"Dog<\/p>\n

While these are birdhouses, someone made this birdhouse to look like a dog house. \u00a0It looks as if the dog’s name is Kora.<\/h3>\n

\"Syracuse<\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

We live close to the University of Syracuse, and this Syracuse University basketball birdhouse is appropriate. \u00a0Plus, it is right at the road that goes up the hill to the university. \u00a0Turns out there was a controversy with this birdhouse. \u00a0Some neighbors were not \u00a0fans and called the mayor’s office multiple times to have them remove the house. People who did not live in the city even knew about the drama with this birdhouse. \u00a0Well, you can tell the birdhouse won.<\/h3>\n

I thought the whole thing was crazy and pretty funny. \u00a0This was seriously a first world problem, and I wish those neighbors used their extra energy to volunteer or do something worthwhile.<\/h3>\n

We have more birdhouses,, but these are my favorites that I wanted to share. \u00a0I hope you enjoy them as much as we have. We are loving our summer weather!<\/h3>\n
