It has been a couple of months since we went to Burma. \u00a0Mr. Spring and I like to travel light which means we each use a backpack we can carry on. \u00a0I have dealt with losing luggage overseas, and it is such a pain. \u00a0So, I have learned to pack like a pro. \u00a0With this packing strategy, we end up not buying that many souvenirs. \u00a0We do usually buy an ornament for our Christmas tree which we did in both Burma and Thailand this year. \u00a0However, we also bought some art in the form of hand-painted note cards.<\/h3>\n

For winter, I had printed and framed some faux vintage winter posters for our tiny\u00a0half bath<\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0While very appropriate for us in the winter, it was time to change it up.<\/h3>\n

We bought two packs of these hand painted cards – one pack was black and white and one packet was colorful. \u00a0Mr. Spring framed a couple of the note cards and took them to his office at work. \u00a0I loved all of the colors and thought they would look good framed and put in the bath.<\/h3>\n

The green in the cards actually works great in the bathroom. \u00a0Plus it is fun to see them and remember the amazing people and children we met. \u00a0We really enjoyed our time in the country and we plan to go back in the future.<\/h3>\n

This was my favorite painting and we bought one of the packs just for this card. \u00a0I love the vibrant colors and just something about the monks is peaceful. \u00a0They are a common sight in Burma.<\/h3>\n
