sink area.

My first step in the process of capturing her look was to find a table. Based on a past experience of finding the right table for a vessel sink, I thought I would end up getting it custom-made. But during a casual trip to my favorite furniture consignment shop, I spotted a mission style oak table that I thought would work. After checking its dimensions against the width of our powder room, I bought it. My plan was to remove the top and replace it with carrara marble that would tie in with the carrara on the floors of the three full baths and with the kitchen countertops.

The table in this photo is similar to the one I bought. I painted it white like Brook’s.

This shows a sample of Carrara marble. It is important to personally select each slab that will be used in your home because they can vary greatly. All of our marble floors and countertops will be honed.

I like our house to flow easily from room to room by using common elements throughout. I checked with our marble man, and he assured me that we could use a small slab of marble for the top, and that it could even be a remnant. That $ounded even better.

I took it one step further and asked him if he could put a marble backsplash on the wall and make it look kind of like this countertop in the Pottery Barn’s catalog. I like the bull-nose edge. (That’s what they call it in the industry. It’s a new word to me).

<p style="text-align: select a sink. I wanted more of a bowl look , and the Kohler sinks I looked at were too low and close to the counter top. I moved on to American Standard and found this sink that will work.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" id="lg_image" class="aligncenter" It, along with all of our fixtures, is chrome.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" title="Opulence Series Single Handle Bathroom Wall
