\u00a0We hope you all have some fun plans for the week-end. \u00a0Now that it is summer, I find myself making smoothies frequently for either my breakfast or lunch. \u00a0They are easy to make, and when made right, they are loaded with lots of good-for-you foods.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-18598\" alt=\"Smoothie\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_6021-1024x829.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"497\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_6021-1024x829.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_6021-398x323.jpg 398w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">There have been reports lately about the high calorie\/high sugar contents of many smoothies. \u00a0Some folks automatically think nutritious when they see a smoothie shop, but you might be getting the same calories that you would get from a milkshake and the same amount of nutrition, too.<\/h3>\n<h3><!--more--><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">My smoothies are easy, and I thought it would be a great recipe to share with you today. \u00a0Of course, you can omit the yogurt if you want to make them paleo. \u00a0This is what I do:<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-18599\" alt=\"Smoothie 2\" src=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_6020-1024x936.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"562\" srcset=\"http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_6020-1024x936.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_6020-353x323.jpg 353w, http:\/\/the2seasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_6020.jpg 2022w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>NUTRIOUS SMOOTHIE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0&#8211; 1 banana, cut in chunks (this works better if the banana if frozen)<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0&#8211; A handful of frozen strawberries (I wash and hull them and toss them in a freezer bag to use when I need them.)<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0&#8211; 1 container of yogurt (I use Greek)<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0&#8211; 1 cup orange juice<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0&#8211; 5 or 6 ice cubes<\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>I toss all of these ingredients in a blender and blend away for about one minutes. \u00a0When it is just the right thickness, I pour it in a glass, add a straw, and sip away. \u00a0This recipe has about 350 calories and no fat.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Take care and have a great week-end.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Friday!!
