Summer is here, and I did a quick project to add a little summer to my boring white refrigerator.<\/span><\/h3>\n

When we moved into our house I thought I must<\/em> have stainless\u00a0appliances. \u00a0I was really ready to get a new frig, but then once I painted the cabinets white, I really didn’t mind the white frig at all. \u00a0It is easy to clean, and for now it works for the two of us. \u00a0I am not sure how much longer this frig will live, but when that day comes or better yet, if there’s an amazing sale, we might be switching over to the beauty of stainless. \u00a0Till then, I thought a\u00a0little summer was needed give a pop to the frig.<\/h3>\n

I went to the bead section at Hobby Lobby and found these cute flowers on sale for 50 per cent off. \u00a0I thought they would be perfect. \u00a0I then headed over and bought a pack of magnets with a 40 per cent off coupon. \u00a0So you can see that very little money was spent on this project.<\/h3>\n

It was such a simple craft. \u00a0All I did was attach a magnet to the back of each flower with the glue from my hot glue gun.<\/h3>\n

Ta da! \u00a0They are such a cute way to add some cheer in the kitchen. \u00a0This would be so easy to do with any type of beads so you can get really creative. \u00a0I have even seen it done with old earrings from the 50’s and 60’s. \u00a0They simply removed the back and attached a magnet.<\/h3>\n

You could probably even use some tacky glue and make this a child-friendly project. \u00a0Happy crafting!!!<\/h3>\n
